Over the years the importance of coffee shops have increased significantly. But it all started in Middle East in the 1500’s where coffee was first grown. Then from the middle east coffee shops or houses finally found its way to England in early 1600’s. Now when did it come to North America, well a lot historians argue that Captain John Smith a global trader introduced coffee while some say it was introduced long before.
Nonetheless as soon as coffee shops were introduced it become popular amongst the population. they were originally called houses where coffee , alcohol and other beverages were served. Most of them were used as a place to ‘seal the deal’ , political discussions etc.
But now a days, when you enter a coffee shop you’ll find people engaged in all sorts of activities from chilling with friends to having a discussion on a trendy subject to reading a book , the list goes on and on…..
